Hello. I already made a post as the admin, but I wanted to make a post with my actual account. I will be admin on both, but I will probably use this account more; I don't fully know yet. Here is more about me. I didn't have television when Carrie Underwood was on American Idol, so I found out about her afterwards, but not too long afterwards. The first song I heard by her was either Jesus Take the wheel or Before He Cheats; I have been a huge fan ever since. I have never personally been to see Carrie Live, the few times she was near and I could afford it I couldn't go. The first time, I was in the college production of Phantom of the Opera, and had to do that. The second time I had a final exam on the same day so I couldn't go. I do plan on going and seeing Carrie live someday when she is close enough and I can afford it. That has been one of my dreams; to see her live. Carrie Underwood has inspired me to sing since I was in the 5th grade. I credit her in my wanting to become a better singer, so I was a choir kid, even though I didn't take choir every year. I still enjoy singing, but don't think I'm the best. I don't want to overestimate myself. Thank you for reading my Getting to Know Ruby Page. -Ruby Page

Hi Ruby I have been a fan of Carrie Underwood since her very first audition on IDOL don't ask me how I knew it when I seen her audition I knew that she was going to win it all. Every year we did a IDOL pool but we always waited until the top 12 were decided before we put our entries in, but that year I had picked Carrie Underwood immediately from her first audition. That's great. Since I first heard her music I have been a fan. I wish I could have seen her on American idol, but I'm glad she won and I have been a fan since I was in the fifth grade when I first heard her music.

I have been the ultimate Carrie fan since her first audition on Idol. I have to credit Carrie for my new found love of country music, as I was a hard core pop/ rock fan until I heard Carries first album. I was finally able to see her live in October 2012 on the first leg of her Blown Away Tour. It was the best! Carrie #1 forever!

To create your own there is a create thread option on the top right of the board if it is open. the only board you can't make posts on is the getting started boards, as it is just rules and a welcome. Thank you again for joining the forum and I hope to see some great posts! If you do have suggestions let me know. I will make important posts as an admin, but I will be participating in the site on this account mostly. I am glad you decided to join and feel free to recommend other Carebears to the site. Hi Blondm1 welcome to the family of Country Music and it is a wonderful family and you will meet some really great people along the way. I have always been a fan of Country music even when country wasn't cool. LOL Believe me when I tell you growing up in NY and loving country as a kid was not easy, I always got teased by my friends, how can you listen to that twangy stuff. I have seen Country Music change over the last several years but it is all good because now I see more and more of the younger generation getting into Country Music and RAP is slowly but surely dying out which is a good thing. NY finally has a country station back on line NASH FM 94.7 but for years we did not have a country station and when we lost it I went out and got Sirus Radio just so I could listen to my country music. Carrie Underwood is the best thing that ever happened to Country Music and any parent would be proud to have their young children Idolize her.

Hi everyone, my name is Diana, 17 from the Philippines. In all honesty, in our country, country music was not very known here. I am a certified music lover, as I say myself, and I love all genres, but as I heard Lady A. as country artists, that is when I am so HOOKED on country. Then when I heard Carrie Underwood sang on AI and heard her sing, that is when I am so addicted to all of her songs and loving her so much. I have known her song Jesus Take The Wheel here in PH because it is usually sang here in our church... and I didn't know that she was the one who sang it... I must say that I am so blessed and proud to know her (I really wish to that I can see her someday and while performing on stage), and all of her songs inspire me to do better in my life in college. Well, that's it from me... and I am so happy to be here in this site!!
